This episode catches us in the midst of a nine day cleanse. We talk through the highs and lows of the experience and the energetic, emotional, and physical differences we have experienced as the days have progressed through the cleanse. We ponder the various ways we misperceive sensations as "hunger", the connection between the gut and the brain and the impact of that connection on surges of joy, the increasingly sharpened sensation of taste which comes from cleansing, and how fasting/cleansing can help process traumas. We discuss the cleansing result of an increased ayurvedic element of vata as well as how cleansing fits into the gunas of the yogic tradition.
